Asang Soo

Ahn Sang-soo is a major figure in Korean graphic design. As one of the most influential designers in East Asia, Sang-soo has created

typographical work in Korea that has made him a household name. He supervised the transition of the traditional Hangul Korean alphabet, into a functional design medium, incorporating all the digital demands and interpretations needed for design today. His exploration and research on the functionality of the Korean alphabet has revolutionized the way in which Korean people design, and he is continually improving typography in textbooks and newspapers.

Ahn Sang-soo is not only a designer, but also a poet, philosopher, linguist, and teacher. His company, Ahn Graphics, is a design, multimedia and advertising firm, and a publishing house.
